We are currently working with a well-regarded, multidisciplinary consultancy who are growing their Environmental Approvals team in WA.
The team has grown, there is already a healthy pipeline of work in place and the growth plans are backed by a national and global technical network, so this is a chance to step into an established team with real momentum rather than start from scratch.
About the Role
You will lead and deliver environmental approvals projects across sectoris including mining and resources, infrastructure, government, water and transport, while taking on the commercial side of the business and driving the growth of the practice in WA.
This is a senior leadership role rather than a purely technical one. You will own the growth strategy and the business development that sits behind it, along with the P&L and the commercial performance of the team. You will also work closely with the ecology team on cross-team opportunities.
It is a Perth-based role with hybrid flexibility, strong support from other local specialists and a deep national bench to call on.

- Exposure to the EPA and the WA government sector

- Track record of winning work and building lasting client relationships
- Operational leadership experience, ideally including P&L and financial reporting
- Comfortable mentoring and developing a team that has a lot of juniors and people from varied backgrounds

What's in it for You?
- Senior leadership role in an established team with clear growth plans
- Healthy pipeline of work already there to be serviced
- Supportive, developmental culture and national technical networks
- Employee share purchase scheme with matched contributions
- Flexible working, 2 - 3 days from home per week
- 12 weeks paid parental leave and the option to purchase extra annual leave
