This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who actually delivers sustainability reporting - not just talks about it.
If you’ve personally authored Annual Sustainability Reports, worked within an ASX environment, and understand how to manage data, deadlines and multiple stakeholders - this could be a very good fit.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Environment and Sustainability, you will take ownership of the company’s sustainability reporting and ESG coordination across Australian and international assets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and drafting the Annual Sustainability Report (GRI aligned)
- Managing the reporting calendar and working to ASX deadlines
- Coordinating data collection across contractors and operational teams
- Managing data flow from site to internal systems to final reporting
- Validating and reconciling sustainability data prior to publication
- Overseeing NPI and greenhouse / climate-related reporting
- Supporting rehabilitation provision and climate disclosure readiness (2027 requirements)
- Maintaining and improving compliance registers and reporting processes
About You
- Around 5 - 15 years’ experience in sustainability, ESG or environmental reporting
- Mining or regulated extractives experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of GRI frameworks
- Experience within an ASX-listed company highly regarded
- Comfortable managing reporting cycles and strict timelines
- Excellent written communication skills - able to draft formal reports independently
- Relevant Environmental or related degree

- Base salary $150,000 - $230,000 + super (dependent on level)
- Short-Term bonus / Incentive
- Long-Term Incentive available for senior-level candidates (3-year performance based)
