Senior to Principal Zoologist

We are currently partnering with a national environmental consultancy that’s steadily growing its footprint in WA. With a strong ecology team already in place and a healthy pipeline of projects in renewables, infrastructure and resources, they’re now looking for a Senior Zoologist to join their Perth office.

About the Role

You’ll join a respected national ecology group and be based in Perth, delivering field assessments, fauna surveys, and technical reporting. Projects span renewables, transport infrastructure, mining and urban development.

You’ll also contribute to impact assessments, approvals documentation, and client advice supported by in-house GIS and a collaborative internal network. There’s room to specialise in field ecology or to expand your consulting skills depending on your interests.

About You

 

• Degree in Zoology, Ecology, Environmental Science or similar
• Experience in fauna surveys across WA 
• Ability to plan, lead and coordinate field programs
• Comfortable interpreting data and contributing to clear, accurate reports
• Experience working under WA environmental legislation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to travel and undertake fieldwork
• Passionate about biodiversity and delivering quality outcomes
