My client is a highly-regarded consulting company who provide groundwater and environmental services to a range of industries including Mining & Resources, Infrastructure, Defense, Government and Agriculture.

They are well-established and have a solid pipeline of work and repeat business earnt from providing high quality advice and support to their clients throughout Australia.

About the role

Due to ongoing growth and workload, there is a requirement for a Senior to Principal level technical professional to join their busy Townsville office.

They have the ability and capacity to be flexible with the role and would consider someone from either a Groundwater modelling, Hydrogeology or Geochemistry background.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience and qualifications in Groundwater Modelling, Hydrogeology, or Geochemistry as well as a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to fit in and collaborate in a small team of friendly, technical professionals.

The “Ideal candidate” for this role will have:
 
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Hydrogeology, Geology, Geochemistry or Groundwater Modelling
  • Broadly around 8 – 25 years experience, including experience working in a consulting environment (Industry and academia also considered)
  • Project Management skills and the ability to deliver technical work to a high standard
  • Client management skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders from varied backgrounds.
  • Some experience in relevant software such as: Modflow, FEFLOW, PhreeqC, Geochemist's Workbench or similar
