About the Role
The key purpose of this role is to provide technical Fauna services to clients in Western Australia as well as being a valued senior member of the Biodiversity team with a focus on client interaction, business development, proposals, reporting deliverables, coaching, mentoring and team building.
The role will be predominantly Perth based with occasional field work for which you will receive Time In Lieu.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
- BSc in Zoology, Environmental Science or similar (essential)
- Around 10 + years’ experience including previous environmental consultancy experience.
- Previous relevant technical experience in Zoology – ideally one or more of the Pilbara, Goldfields, Southwest or Kimberly bioregions.
- Understanding of relevant W.A legislation including Part IV of the EP Act
- Strong technical report writing / reviewing and project management skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to fit in well and work with a team of friendly, technical professionals.
