Here’s an opportunity to take the lead on an active gold exploration program. Drilling is underway, the setup is solid, and they’re looking for someone who can run the day-to-day, keep things moving, and make sure the work is done properly.

The project is in regional Victoria, north of Melbourne. You’ll work Monday to Friday on a daytime drilling schedule, stay in a comfortable house close to site (your own room, self-catered), and have a well-organised core yard already secured. FIFO is available from WA or QLD on an 8/6 or 7/7 setup.

What you’ll be doing:

Running the daily drilling program (Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm)
Supervising geologists and field assistants
Logging, sampling, field mapping and structural work
Ensuring workflow efficiency and proper rehab
Managing logistics, contractors, drillers and site operations
Liaising with landowners and maintaining strong relationships
Maintaining QA/QC, documentation, and reporting
Supporting interpretation and planning for future drilling

What they’re looking for:

BSc Geology
10+ years’ experience in exploration or project geology
Gold experience strongly preferred
Structural mapping experience a bonus
Micromine skills a bonus
Strong supervision and people management skills
Practical, organised operator who can run a program independently

Lifestyle & Site Setup:

Stay in a 4-bed house near the project – your own room
Cook your own meals – everything provided

Approx. $800 to $1000/day
