Senior Consultant - Approvals

My client is a nationally active, employee-owned environmental consultancy with a strong WA team. You will join a friendly, multi-disciplinary group delivering environmental and social assessment and management from concept through to approvals, delivery and decommissioning.

About the Role

You will support clients by delivering environmental impact assessments, environmental planning and approvals, and environmental management projects across renewables, resources and infrastructure. The work includes project scoping and delivery, stakeholder engagement, technical reporting, and contributing to proposals and client relationships.

About You
 

• Degree in Environmental Science, Planning or a related discipline
• 5+ years experience in environmental impact assessment or environmental planning (WA consulting experience valued)
• Strong knowledge of environmental and planning legislation, regulations and best practice
• Proven project management across timelines, budgets and resourcing
• Experience in renewables, resources and/or electricity transmission is desirable
• Adaptable and comfortable working across disciplines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to build positive team and client relationships
