GEOLOGISTS
- Logging and supervising AC, RC and Diamond drilling
- Planning and executing surface sampling programs
- Mapping and field interpretation
- QA/QC and sampling validation
- Managing field logistics and contractor supervision
- Working with tools such as Micromine, LogChief, and GIS
- Writing daily reports and supporting geological models
What you'll need
- BSc in Geology
- Experience in mineral exploration (any commodity, ideally base metals)
- Confident in the field and able to work in small teams
- Strong logging, sampling, and mapping skills
- Manual driver's licence
- Based in Queensland with full Australian working rights
- First Aid (preferred but not essential)
- Completed, or able to complete, a Mineral Mine and Quarry (MMQ) Medical Assessment and drug and alcohol test
FIELD ASSISTANTS
- Assisting with Aircore, RC, and Diamond drilling operations
- Collecting and dispatching soil, rock chip, and drill samples
- Core mark-up, orientation, RQD, and SG measurements
- XRF use and basic data entry
- General field labour and helping keep camp running smoothly
- 4WD driving in remote areas
- Maintaining clean and safe work areas
What you'll need
- Prior experience in field-based exploration support
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Manual driver's licence (HR highly regarded)
- Based in Queensland with full Australian working rights
- First Aid (preferred but not essential)
- Completed, or able to complete, a Mineral Mine and Quarry (MMQ) Medical Assessment and drug and alcohol test
