Gather Recruitment partner with a range of mining and exploration companies across Australia and are currently working on several excellent opportunities for Geologists at Project and Senior level.
These roles cover a mix of commodities, offer strong day rates, flexible rosters, and the chance to work on genuine discovery-driven exploration.

- Multiple, permanent, full-time roles
- Salary around $140,000 - $160,000 + super
- Porphyry copper, VMS, epithermal gold
- Perth based with campaign-style exploration in QLD
- Opportunity to specialise while contributing across a broad portfolio
- Project generation & data extraction
- Field mapping ®gional interpretation
- Geophysics integration
- Epithermal / quartz gold systems
- Porphyry copper experience
Ref: 401 - Senior Geologist (Gold)
- Contract with possible permanent option
- Day Rate around $850 - $1,000/day + super
- FIFO Perth to VIC - 8/6 or 7/7 roster
- Regional VIC gold project
- Lead Geologists and Field Assistants
- Manage logistics, rehab and landholder engagement

- Contract starting now or New Year
- Day Rate around $850 - $1,100/day + super
- Copper project in South America
- Campaign-style exploration (3 - 4 weeks at a time)
- Manage diamond drilling, geology teams and logistics
- Well-funded, active explorer
Ref: 394 - Exploration Geologist
- Contract starting Jan / Feb 2026
- Day Rate around $650/day + super
- WA gold project
- 15/13 roster
- Manage diamond and RC drilling
About You
To be considered for these roles, you MUST have:
- A tertiary degree in Geology or related discipline
- Australian work rights
- Currently based in Australia
- Ability to pass medical and D&A screening
- Ability to obtain a police clearance
