We excited to present an opportunity for a Principal Engineer with a dynamic consultancy renowned for delivering exceptional engineering and environmental services to the Mining Sector in Australia and overseas
As the Principal Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing, designing, constructing, and remediating tailings structures across all project stages.
- Conducting desk-based studies using data from diverse sources.
- Performing due diligence reviews and scoping studies.
- Designing and supervising waste facilities.
- Project management and coordination.
- Report and proposal writing.
- Mentoring a team of engineers as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous involvement in the design, construction, and maintenance of Tailings Storage Facilities, particularly on large projects.
- Proficient report and proposal writing skills with strong written communication abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities and adeptness in client collaboration.
- Strong project management skills, managing multiple projects and clients concurrently, ensuring timely and budgeted delivery to client satisfaction.
- Technical prowess in tailings management, geotechnics, heap leaching, and water management.
- Ability to review reports, analyses, and conduct audits.
- Leadership experience with a focus on mentoring engineering staff and driving business development.
