Currently, we are partnering with one of Perth’s leading multi-disciplinary consultancies who provide a range of environmental services to clients across sectors including mining, energy, infrastructure, government and utilities.
They are well established in Western Australia and have a strong pipeline of repeat business gained from consistently delivering high quality work to their clients.
Due to continued workload and growth, they are currently looking for a Senior to Principal level Consultant to join their well-established Rehabilitation and Ecosystem Restoration team
The key purpose of this role is to provide technical Rehabilitation and Restoration advice and services to clients in Western Australia as well as being a valued senior member of the team.
The role will be predominantly Perth based with occasional short duration field work within Western Australia for which you will receive Time In Lieu.
This is an important role for the company and will involve a mixture of technical work, client management, proposal generation, report writing and mentoring of junior consultants. (there is some scope to focus more on the areas that interest you most)
The ‘Ideal’ candidate will have:
- BSc in Environmental Science or similar (essential)
- Around 10 – 15 + years’ experience including previous environmental consultancy experience.
- Previous relevant technical experience in Rehabilitation, Restoration, Revegetation, Mine Closure or similar
- Understanding of relevant W.A legislation
- Strong technical report writing / reviewing and project management skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to fit in well and work with a team of friendly, technical professionals.
