Principal Hydrogeologist - Perth

We are partnering with a specialist consultancy to appoint a Principal Hydrogeologist to strengthen their high-trust, technically sharp water group. If you are a seasoned hydro with mining and consulting depth — or a senior ready to step up — this offers real scope and impact.

About the Role
 

• Provide senior technical leadership across groundwater and water management projects
• Lead project delivery, reviews and advice for mining and related clients
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships; contribute to BD and proposals
• Mentor and develop hydrogeologists; set standards and lift capability
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on Australian and international projects

 
  Key Requirements
 

• Tertiary degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or similar
• Post-graduate qualifications (e.g., MSc Hydrogeology) valued but not essential
• 15+ years’ experience with strong exposure to mining and consulting
• Proven background across groundwater investigations and project delivery
• Client management and business development skills (highly regarded)
• Excellent communication, reporting and project management
• Experience mentoring juniors and collaborating within technical teams
