Lead meaningful sustainability work across precincts, infrastructure and land development.
My client is an employee-owned consultancy with a strong WA presence and a growing national footprint. It is a friendly, values-led team that works at the intersection of climate change, land use and precinct planning. You will help grow a small sustainability practice alongside the team lead, with the backing of a respected multidisciplinary business.
About the Role
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role that combines delivery, client engagement and team development. You will lead sustainability strategies and assessments across land development, urban planning, infrastructure and renewables. You will contribute to work in climate risk and adaptation, carbon reduction strategies, lifecycle assessment, carbon accounting and Green Star. You will own key client relationships, shape internal systems, templates and procedures as the team scales, and play an active role in business development and external networking.
About You
- Experience delivering strategic sustainability outcomes in urban development or infrastructure
- Skills in one or more of: Green Star, lifecycle assessment, carbon accounting, climate change risk and adaptation
- Consulting background with the ability to lead projects and mentor others
- Comfortable engaging with developers, government and infrastructure clients
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and report writing
- Relevant degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, planning or design
- Professional accreditations valued (eg Green Star, ISCA, Climate Active), or willingness to obtain
