Junior Field Assistant

Start your geology career with real field time and solid support.

You will work under an experienced Senior Field Assistant on an active RC and diamond drilling program. It is a practical role with plenty of hands-on work, clear guidance, and a small, friendly team.

About the Role

 

• Support RC and diamond drilling programs
• Core cutting, sampling and dispatch
• General field duties, yard organisation and vehicle checks
• Basic data entry and sample tracking
• Daily pre-starts and a focus on safety
• Learn on the job with coaching from a senior field assistant

 
  About You

 

• Current driver’s licence (manual preferred)
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Keen to learn and follow instructions
• Good attitude, reliable and safety conscious
• Able to work a 5/2 or 12/9 roster in regional Victoria
• Full Australian working rights
