Intermediate to Senior Hydrogeologist

My client is a specialist hydrogeology consultancy in Perth. They're busy with WA mining work, adding new services and starting to pick up some international projects. They now need an Intermediate to Senior Hydrogeologist who can work on their own, get out in the field and then own the technical reporting back in the office.

It's a small, technically led team. You'll be trusted with real work from day one and have plenty of room to grow as the business does.

The Role

• Planning and running groundwater field programmes on WA mine sites
• Interpreting the data and writing up the technical reporting back in the office
• Groundwater and surface water assessments covering mine water supply, dewatering and water management
• Clients across gold, nickel, iron ore and rare earths, plus work with Aboriginal corporations
• Helping grow existing projects and new service areas

Must-have

• Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science or similar
• Consulting experience as a hydrogeologist
• Hands-on groundwater field experience on mine sites
• Strong technical interpretation and report writing
• Able to work independently and think things through for yourself

Nice to have

• WA experience (not essential - candidates from New Zealand are welcome to apply)
• FEFLOW or MODFLOW groundwater modelling experience
