We’re partnering with a mid-sized environmental consultancy with a strong reputation in WA approvals work. With a team of ten specialists based in the Perth CBD and a solid pipeline of projects in place, they’re now looking to appoint one or two new consultants to help deliver and shape future work.

You’ll be supported by a broader in-house team including ecologists, bushfire consultants, GIS analysts, and business support all working together across interesting and often complex environmental projects in WA and beyond.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a collaborative and experienced team delivering environmental approvals for projects in the resources, renewables, land development and infrastructure sectors.

The team’s work spans everything from Part IV and Part V referrals, EPBC Act submissions, and offset strategies to mining proposals, closure plans, and due diligence reporting. The role offers exposure to both local and national projects, with opportunities to grow your skills and client relationships.

There are options available for both mid-level and senior consultants, depending on your background.

About You

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Engineering, Law or similar
  • Around 3 - 6 + years’ industry experience (ideally in WA)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of WA and Commonwealth environmental legislation (Part IV, Part V, EPBC)
  • Comfortable preparing approvals documents and working with regulators
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships
  • Consulting background preferred but not essential

What’s in it for You?

  • Supportive, professional team based in the Perth CBD
  • Steady pipeline of project work with great clients
  • Work-from-home flexibility and wellbeing support
  • Option to purchase additional leave (up to 2 weeks)
  • Employee stock purchase plan
  • Salary sacrifice options and PD budget
  • Long-term progression opportunities in a growing team
