Hydrogeologist

Looking for a well-paid contract gig with a friendly, experienced team? This is a great short-term opportunity to step into an interesting dewatering project on an emerging mine site, without the red tape of a big consultancy.

If you're a capable field hydrogeologist with good communication skills, this is a hands-on role where you’ll be trusted to get on with the job and contribute meaningfully from day one.

About the Role

This contract supports a dewatering project for a new mining development. The work is mostly site based and will see you supervising drilling and installation of production bores, coordinating and overseeing test pumping programs, conducting reinjection trials and monitoring, logging and interpreting field data, liaising with drillers and contractors on site, ensuring safety and compliance standards are maintained, and preparing field reports and data summaries for senior review.

About You
 

• Around 3-5+ years' experience in hydrogeology or a related field
• BSc in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science or similar
• Strong field supervision background (production bores, test pumping, etc.)
• Experience on mine sites or remote field environments
• Good communication and time management skills
• Full working rights in Australia
• Available to start soon
