Geologist - Copper

My client is advancing exploration at an exciting copper project and is seeking a hands-on Exploration Geologist to help shape their next campaign. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the rocks, driving discovery, and taking ownership of the exploration plan from start to finish.

You’ll be diving into a wealth of historical data, interpreting results, and bringing your own geological insight to guide next steps. You will live and breathe the project - analysing, planning, and setting a clear direction for exploration in 2026.

About the Role  

• Review and interpret historical datasets, surface geochemistry, and drilling data
• Use Geoscience Analyst or similar software to compile and visualise data
• Develop a detailed exploration plan for 2026, including further sampling and drilling programs
• Identify key targets for re-sampling, re-drilling and potential extensions
• Collaborate with existing consultants to test ideas and refine targets

About You  

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or similar discipline
• Experience in porphyry copper systems – ideally with exposure to WA or QLD projects
• Strong data interpretation and planning capability
• Proficiency with Geoscience Analyst or equivalent software
• Available to start in November and based in Perth
