With a large landholding in Central Queensland and a strong pipeline of mapping, geophysics, sampling and drilling planned through 2026, this is a practical, hands-on opportunity for an experienced field operator who knows how exploration actually works on the ground.

About the Role
- Act as the senior field assistant and logistics lead across Queensland projects
- Coordinate field logistics for drilling, mapping, sampling and geophysics programs
- Manage mobilisation and demobilisation of camps, vehicles, equipment and contractors
- Oversee camp setup, maintenance, safety and general functionality
- Manage field consumables, stores and equipment inventories
- Coordinate vehicle, plant and equipment servicing and repairs
- Supervise site preparation works including drill pads, access tracks and rehabilitation
- Provide day-to-day supervision of field crews and contractors onsite
- Support and mentor field assistants and junior staff
- Implement and maintain WHS systems, procedures and risk assessments
- Conduct safety inspections, toolbox talks and task observations
- Liaise professionally with landholders, pastoralists and traditional owners
- Communicate field progress and issues clearly to the geology team and management
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in exploration field operations, logistics or camp management
- Hands-on experience supporting drilling and remote field programs
- Comfort working in remote areas on a roster
- Practical, reliable and calm under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work closely with geologists
- Strong safety awareness and experience working within WHS frameworks
- Experience in mining or mineral exploration environments
