I’m currently working with a well-backed exploration company that is looking to bring on Exploration Geologists to support an active diamond drilling programme.
This is a hands-on role working across two rigs within a small, experienced team, with an initial 6-month contract and strong potential to extend or move into a permanent position.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for diamond core logging and running a drill rig on site, working closely with supervising geologists and the wider field team.
Key Details
- 12/9 FIFO roster from Perth (day shift only)
- 6-month contract with extension potential
- Start early April (one immediate requirement)
- Two rigs currently operating
What You’ll Bring
- Around 3–5 years’ experience in exploration geology
- Strong diamond drilling experience (logging and rig management)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a rig
- Lithium / LCT pegmatite experience beneficial but not essential
- Down-to-earth attitude and ability to work well in a small team
