Exploration Field Assistants

We are currently looking to speak with experienced Field Assistants who are interested in upcoming exploration programs in Queensland.

 

These roles offer the chance to work with a growing exploration company on active field programs, with a mix of short-term contract work starting soon and a longer-term contract to permanent opportunity for the right person.

 

We want to hear from people who are reliable, practical, field-ready and available for upcoming starts.

Ref: 501 - Field Assistant - Short term contract, Central QLD

• Start around 30th April
• Around $500/day + Super (Neg)
• Soil sampling and mapping work
• Project located near Mt Morgan
• Current MMQ / General Quarry Medical required

 

Ref: 502 - Field Assistant - Short term contract, Central QLD

• Start around 15th May
• Around $500/day + Super (Neg)
• Soil sampling and rock chipping work
• Project located near Mt Morgan
• Current MMQ / General Quarry Medical required

 

Ref: 503 - Senior Field Assistant - Ongoing Contract to permanent, QLD

• Start around late May
• Around $550/day + Super (Neg)
• Broader all-round field role with long-term potential
• Assisting Field Supervisor and helping witih field work and logistics

What You’ll Need

• Previous field-based exploration experience preferred
• Fit and capable of physical outdoor work
• Manual driver’s licence
• Able to work in remote areas and small field teams
• Able to pass a medical and drug and alcohol screen
