We’re working with a long-established environmental consultancy with over 40 years of experience delivering practical, science-based advice to clients in the mining sector.

Due to strong demand and a healthy pipeline of projects, they’re now looking to add an Environmental Scientist to their Perth team. This is a great opportunity to join a respected group that values technical quality, professional development and work-life balance.

About the Role

You’ll work alongside scientists, engineers and chemists to deliver environmental studies, approvals and management advice for mining projects across WA and occasionally overseas. Projects range from baseline assessments and impact statements to approvals under State and Commonwealth legislation.

You’ll have the chance to build strong technical skills while contributing to a friendly, low-ego team that’s known for doing things the right way.

About You
 
  • Degree in Environmental Science or a related field
  • Around 5–10 years' professional experience
  • Experience with Part IV / Part V and EPBC Act approvals
  • Familiarity with WA and Commonwealth environmental legislation
  • Previous exposure to mining projects is a bonus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage your own tasks and collaborate across disciplines
