Environmental Scientist / Field Technician

Hands on field role with a good roster and solid day rates.

My client is seeking environmental field staff to join a small team for a 10 month contract, with potential to extend.

About the Role
 

• Soil logging and sampling
• Sample handling and preparation
• Field inspections and reporting
• Support project delivery under a 2:2 roster (15 days on, including travel / 13 off)
• 12 hour shifts per day
• Flights ex Perth on Thursdays, with accommodation and meals provided on site

 
  What We’re Looking For
 

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Geology or similar, or equivalent field experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in soil logging/sampling
• Current C class driver’s licence (required)
• White Card (required)
• 4WD training preferred (not essential)
• Able to complete site inductions before mobilisation (costs covered)
• Strong commitment to safe work and working well in a small team

 
  The Offer
 

• $550 - $725 per day, depending on experience
• Food, housing and site logistics provided
• Fortnightly payments
• PPE provided
• 10 month contract with potential to extend
