They currently have a need for a Principal / Leader to join their team in Perth due to restrucure within the business.
This is a senior leadership role to guide, grow and support the WA business while staying connected to meaningful technical work.
The opportunity
- Lead and grow a high calibre WA team while maintaining strong client relationships across government, mining, renewables and NRM.
- Oversee project delivery across services including ecology, water, planning and approvals, with scope to shape the service mix.
- Own budgets, pipelines and performance, and collaborate with national leaders to align strategy and standards.
- Foster a positive, accountable culture with clear mentoring, coaching and progression pathways.
- Leadership and growth: set direction, manage resourcing, drive quality, safety and commercial outcomes.
- Clients and markets: maintain trusted relationships and open new doors; shape proposals, bids and frameworks.
- Project governance: assure scopes, risk, budgets, and on time delivery; uphold technical standards.
- People and culture: recruit, retain and develop talent; lead by example and support a cohesive, values driven team.
- Hands on where it counts: stay involved in the technical aspects that matter to clients and the team.
About you
- Proven leader in an environmental consultancy with a steady record of winning and delivering work in WA.
- Tertiary qualified in a relevant environmental field.
- Comfortable running P&L, managing pipelines and setting team targets.
- Skilled at stakeholder engagement with regulators, community and Traditional Owners.
- Practical, down to earth, and good with people. You set standards, back your team and follow through.
